Is Altara covered by insurance?

Yes Altara has Public Liability Insurance, Professional Indemnity Insurance and WorkCover Insurance.

How do we book in a staff member for a shift?

To book staff you can call our office any time between 5am and 10:30pm by calling 03 9958 9959 or email us on [email protected] . After hours, please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

How do we know the staff provided by Altara are compliant?

In order to work for Altara, apart from their industry qualifications and relevant experience, all staff must have obtained and provided a copy of the following documents prior to being allocated a shift:

  • Current and valid Police Check,
  • Food Handling certificate/ Food Safety Supervisor Certificate,
  • 3 COVID vaccinations,
  • Current rear FLU vaccination,
  • Working With Children Check (as required).

We are able to provide access to any client to our electronic tracking system called OnePassport to view any individuals’ certificates if and as required.

What award does Altara pay their staff?

Pay rates are provided under the following awards dependent upon the location where the staff member has worked and the role in which they have carried out their shift:

  • Hospitality Award (HIGA),
  • Aged Care Award (ACA) or
  • Health Services and Support Services Award (HPSSA).
How do we set up an account With Altara?

You can either click on the link below and fill out our online Client Application Form, call us or send us an email and one of our friendly team will assist onboard your organisation with a minimum of time and effort (approximately 10 mins).  Once complete you are able to commence utilising our services immediately.
