 Due to unprecedented growth in the aged care and allied health industries, Altara Personnel need quality Chefs to join our teams.

To successfully join our team of professional Chefs you will have the following;

• A certificate lll in Commercial Cookery/equivalent
• A Nationally recognised Food Handling/Supervisor Certificate
• Current Flu and COVID vaccine Certification
• Current Police Check or willing to obtain one
• 5 years’ experience post apprenticeship
• Proven ability to work autonomously, productively and safely with a focus on producing quality food.
• Must Have good Knowledge about IDDSI (Aged Care Dietary Standards)
• Highly knowledgeable in kitchen hygiene practises and occupational health & safety standards.

Working with our key clients you will be responsible for;

• Ensuring that the operations run smoothly.
• Preparing high quality food products. 
• Communication within the facility in regard to menu details/changes.
